Event Description:

St. Clair County Community College Symphonic Band

The SC4 Symphonic Band will present its “Moments in Time” concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 17, in McMorran Place Auditorium, 701 McMorran Blvd., Port Huron.

The annual “Moments in Time” concert features musical pieces taken from throughout American history. Music this year spans numerous decades, including the World War II and Vietnam War time periods.

Tickets cost $7 for adults and $5 for students, with free admission for children through grade 12 when accompanied by an adult. Tickets are available at the McMorran Box Office.

Carl Gippert is conductor of the SC4 Symphonic Band. The band was organized in January 1978 to provide an opportunity for performance beyond the high school and college level. The band comprises 65 to 70 members representing advanced high school students, college students and outstanding community musicians. Ages vary from 16 to 85.
